Nicht, dass man nicht auch flotte Töne von Raphaël Marionneau gewohnt ist. Diese Scheibe jedoch ist etwas neues. War doch der frühere Gesamteindruck der 'ete', 'ambassadeur" und "cafe abstrait' CD der, dass sie gegen Schluss immer ruhiger und "ambientiger" wurden, so ist das diesmal genau umgekehrt. Die "le ryhtme abstrait" fängt an, wie eine "normale" cafe abstrait cd und wird ab der Mitte immer flotter und die bpm Zahl steigt.

Viel mehr Beat als man von Raphael Marionneau seinen CDs bisher gewöhnt war. Aber dabei sind die Stücke trotzdem typische Raphael Marionneau Qualität - also TOP! Wenn ich an meine letzten Südfrankreich-Urlaube zurück denke, dann passt der Sound ideal zum augenscheinlich hektischem Treiben der jedoch total relaxten Südfranzosen an der Côte d'Azur.
