"le classique abstrait" by raphaël marionneau is a new interpretation of club culture and refresh classical music with a modern area and a innovative music mix. since summer 2001, this is one of the successful classic clubbing events in germany and became a reference internationally. |

classical music like never heard before a mix of genres, masterpieces from 4 centuries, modern classics and soundstracks. in june 2001, raphaël marionneau presented the first event of "le classique abstrait" at the internationally known mojo club in hamburg and created a new concept for clubbing. following the success and idea of his chill out event called "le café abstrait", the mojo club has been redesigned into a big living room, filled with comfortable couches, abstract slide and video shows, with relaxed people, some tea for free and of course, the music. from 2001 to 2003, on a wednesday evening and every 4 monthes, "le classique abstrait" at the mojo club received a geat feedback by the public and became one of the most visited classical club events in germany. |

| club culture in a concerthall from 2002 to 2006, "le classique abstrait" was in residency and redefined classic clubbing: the public was invited to sit on couches installed on the scene: a premiere in germany. with the perfect accoustic of a concert house and visual installations, "le classique abstrait" offered to the visitor the possibility to relax with classical music in a wonderful atmosphere and enjoy a complete new concept of clubbing. since the first session, all the events have been sold-out and received a great feedback from the press and public. in april 2004, the magazine "tracks" on arte television presented "le classique abstrait" as one of the most innovative classical events in germany. |
